The Oral Report

Standing up in front of the class was never so much fun!

The rantings and ravings of a mom of three wonderful girls as she finds new love while working like a dog and shaking her fist at the system. You know. Pretty much like everybody else.

Off To See The Wizard

It's early on Wednesday morning and, as Bob Seger would say, I'm trying to get my courage up. I'm heading into a rough two days and won't be around much. On the other end of it is a lot of good stuff, so I know it will all be okay. Just wanted to let you all know that I appreciate you and I'll see you on Friday!!

We'll be sending out the mojo-juju (not the evil monkey) and keeping you in our thoughts.

Better late than never, right? Hope the night passes in blissful slumber, and you awake to a much better day.

...and of course, breakfast in bed, courtesy of Highlander.

SuperG:

Good luck and good comfort....and a poem from my mother:

May the light always find you on a dreary day.
When you need to be home, may you find your way.
May you always have courage to take a chance
And never find frogs in your underpants.

Thanks, Gang! I made it through, okay. Recovery sucks, but I'm getting there. Ended up rescheduling the mediation to Monday. There was just no way I was in any shape to try to do that today. Ironically, Tuesday afternoon saw a great lot of back and forth counteroffers, but nothing resolved. I suppose something could happen there, but I don't count on it.

I really appreciate all the sweet notes. Highlander has been a dream. Get this, bed-head from Hell, groaning in pain, and he says "I never really knew how much I loved you until now." What a hoot! I had a bit of a rough night (which means he did, too), so I've given him a little naptime, while I appreciate the many values that pain meds have to offer. And let me tell you, when you are taking pain meds and read "never find frogs in your underpants", you back up and read it again!

I'm gonna veg out a little more, but I had a little Flashback Friday that's just about ready, so look for that tomorrow!

Thanks, again, everybody. You guys are the best!!

Oh, and Highlander, I've never loved you more, either. Thanks for being there. Every day.
